As Geoff Chaucer said, Time and tide wait for no man. But these men were heart-stoppingly hunky in their prime. I think they've aged well, yes, but here they are when they made me swoon. (That's how old I am, OK??) : >

| He made me wonder what it is all about. |
 |
| I don't think Gary Oldman smiles enough. So adorable. |
 |
| Bonus: Can you even guess which famous actor this is? |
Have a joyous Saturday, and don't forget, Monday, August 6th is Visible Monday! Everyone is welcome to participate!
He looked good younger but I like Gary Oldman even better NOW.
ReplyDeleteOh, I remember! And that's Christopher Walken. Who could forget? I really like him.

The last one is Christopher Walken...
ReplyDeleteFunny, only the first picture, that of Clint Eastwood rings a bell. Guess the others did not cross the Atlantic Ocean in regard to fame, like Clint has. But for sure you would not know all of the European hunks of those days!
ReplyDeleteI knew it was Christopher Walken right away -- something in the eyes gave it away. I will watch almost anything he's in. There's something so wonderfully weird about him. BTW, did you know he is a terrific tapdancer? Took tapdancing lessons in his youth in NY.
ReplyDeleteWhat? No young Brando. He is my favorite. So beautiful in A Streetcar Named Desire and everything else he did at that age.
ReplyDeleteIt's Christopher Walken! (Right? Amirite?) I think Gary Oldman actually looks better older. These are fellas who aged well.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love Christopher Walken but I just could not make him out when I was staring at his photos. What a beautiful face.
ReplyDeleteThat photo of Clint Eastwood is super duper sexy!!!!!! I love Gary Oldman too. Nice photo finds Patti!
This is why I occasionally watch TVLAND...to see my old heart throbs...shhhh, keep my secret!
ReplyDeleteI love Christopher Walken and Clint Eastwood too!
ReplyDeleteHuge ditto from me. He has aged very, very well.
ReplyDeleteI knew it was Christopher Walken the second I saw the photo. We recently watched 'The Deer Hunter' on TV and I had forgotten how young he was then.
Yummy, Christopher Walken! And ooh, all of the men are so gorgeous. I have always loved Clint Eastwood - just want to run my fingers through his hair. I adore Gary Oldman, ever since "Sid and Nancy."
ReplyDeleteSheila (Ephemera)
Oh they're all so gorgeous! Clint is still pretty darn great looking if you ask me, they all are actually.
ReplyDeleteMichael Caine and Gary Oldman ARE European - they were both born in London and Caine is famous for his Cockney accent. And for being super sexy, of course. And Walken - remember when he danced in that music video thing? Sooo cool.
ReplyDeleteWithout looking at the other comments, I'm guessing Christopher Walken?
ReplyDeleteSorry but I don't know the British actors either... Western Europe is more than just Great Britain! Besides, the 15 years that we worked as international consultants we missed a lot of things. Can't keep up with it all and for me, trying to juggle seven languages is hard enough. Glad that others had the chance to get to know them and remember them!
ReplyDeleteNYC. the 1980's. Gary Oldman is looking for an apt. to rent. Someone gives him my phone #. He leaves a message. "Connie, this is Gary Oldman. Please call me." I fainted. Then I called him & left a message. Then he phone tagged me back to say he had already found something. I never met him. I left that message on my answering machine for YEARS!!!!

Really like this picture of the young Gary Oldman's!
ReplyDeleteI clicked for Clint. LOVE him, non-stop. My favorite young actor from yesteryear is PAUL NEWMAN: talent, good looks and a heart of gold get me everytime. Thank you for putting Gary Oldman up there! I thought he was hot back in the day and its good to see him on screen again, even if its just him playing villians. xo.
